This critical role of Contract Manager is responsible for the implementation, rollout and ongoing management of a new Multi-Million dollar, multiple site Warehousing, Distribution and Transport contract.

 

Based in Dubai and encompassing all elements of the 3PL Supply Chain, this pivotal role will be responsible for all aspects of the business including operational performance of the warehousing and transport contract, senior level client interface, commercial, Sector P & L, compliance and legal and manpower.

 

At a minimum you will;

  • Have 5-7 years demonstrated 3PL Contract Logistics and Domestic Transport management experience with a 3PL provider 

  • Have an excellent understanding of the local UAE logistics environment and have extensive experience in this complex market.

  • Be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of Supply Chain Management and warehouse/transport management experience particularly within a Healthcare sector.

  • Have strong management skills in finance, P & L management, manpower resourcing and operational legal and OH&S requirements across UAE.

  • An excellent understanding of road transport legislation applicable to the workplace and ability to act in accordance with safety (OH&S) guidelines, duty of care responsibilities, chain of responsibility legislation and other workplace policies.

  • Have excellent skills in negotiation, client management and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
