Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding/Contract Logistics

 

Multinational 3PL

Negotiable Salary & Benefits Package

Singapore

 

Our Client is a multinational 3PL  with  a long established global presence.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on General Cargo, selling mainly Air / Sea Freight and Contract Logistics Services

  • Pro-actively identify & develop profitable new opportunities, through existing and potential clients to generate increased revenue and market share. 

  • Networking, cold calling – able to quickly react to opportunities

  • Managing quotes and closing deals effectively and efficiently to successfully convert opportunities into sales revenue

  • Identifying key growth sectors 

  • Create and be accountable for all client proposals and contracts

  • Responding to tenders and requests in a timely manner

  • Negotiating rates and service levels with customers & service providers

  • Study existing competitor solutions

  • Maintain a watch on industry developments within the region

 

Requirements:

 

  • Around 3 years Sales experience in 3PL in Singapore

  • Solid track record of sales in 3PL (Personally generating monthly revenues of least 3x salary cost)

  • Currently based in Singapore
