Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding/Contract Logistics

Our Client is a multinational 3PL with a long established global presence.
Focus on General Cargo, selling mainly Air / Sea Freight and Contract Logistics Services
Pro-actively identify & develop profitable new opportunities, through existing and potential clients to generate increased revenue and market share.
Networking, cold calling – able to quickly react to opportunities
Managing quotes and closing deals effectively and efficiently to successfully convert opportunities into sales revenue
Identifying key growth sectors
Create and be accountable for all client proposals and contracts
Responding to tenders and requests in a timely manner
Negotiating rates and service levels with customers & service providers
Study existing competitor solutions
Maintain a watch on industry developments within the region
Around 3 years Sales experience in 3PL in Singapore
Solid track record of sales in 3PL (Personally generating monthly revenues of least 3x salary cost)
Currently based in Singapore
