International Manufacturing Business

Salary package 25 to 30,000 AED per month plus flights & medical

Based in Dubai, UAE

 

Our client is actively seeking to employ a professional Supply Chain Project Manager to take on responsibility of managing and driving business throughout their supply chain reporting to the Group Supply Chain Director.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Assisting with implementation of recommendations, tracking complex cross-functional efforts

  • Create related project plans and other project management related documents

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Analysing data and creating deliverables for the project

  • Maintain project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.

  • Expanding proprietary Supply chain technology across the organization

  • .Participate in procurement process involved in projects including developing RFI/RFP, developing strategy and approach for scoring/evaluation, drive selection process, participate contract negotiation, and successful vendor relationship management and communication

  • Ensure project change management processes and procedures are followed.Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors (whenever applicable) for the flawless execution of projects

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

  • Project contingency planning through risk identification, prioritization and response planning.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Assists and supports organizational change management.Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Additional assignments as business need demands.High amount of autonomy, and will require demanding work hours at times

 

Essential & Desirable criteria

 

  • At least 5 years related work experience in Supply-Chain Project Management in the Middle East for an international manufacturing business.

  • Bachelors Degree concentrating in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to proficiently speak, read and write in English (Arabic would be an advantage)

  • Able to work logically and systematically, with strong analytical & problem-solving skills and the ability to think laterally in offering creative solutions

  • Able to work with people at different levels and foster a strong team culture – strong interpersonal & communication skills are required

  • Able to manage change with a focus on continuous improvement and meeting objectives
