Leading logistics company requires a Business Excellence Manager. The role reports directly to the company CEO and has overall responsibility for Business Excellence across the Kingdom.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with management Team to define Business Excellence activities for the different Business Units and recommend opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency.
Actively participate in cross-functional teams to develop and refine the Vision, Mission and strategy of the company to ensure that the process is align with business excellence schemes.
Take an active role in the development of policies and procedures to ensure that effective checkpoints and balances are included to generate quality output of services and products.
Research and identifying continual improvement concepts, focusing on standards compliance; quality assurance management.
Implement the agreed Quality Measures and reporting methods to track the compliance plan with the Excellence Model.
Initiate and organize best practice activities aimed at enhancing business practices through a team approach.
Manage the participation in the Excellence Awards Programs including: - Coordinate the preparation of the submission document for all related categories across the business - Conduct Business Excellence awareness sessions for different business units. - Assess evidence, data and information that are relevant to the submission document, and work closely with the Corporate Performance Team to prepare the trend analysis.
Participate in the writing of the submission documents in coordination with the business units.
Provide the staff with Business Excellence related consulting whenever they prepare their individual submission documents.
Manage the implementation of the action plan to cover the Business Excellence assessment related gaps
Assist in managing the quality planning for the company and its operating entities/subsidiaries, based on the overall Excellence guidelines, mission and vision of the organization.
Communicate the gaps with the required action plans to all business units.
Assist business units to develop action plans.
Conduct meetings with business units to follow up on the implementation of actions plans.
On a monthly basis, contribute to the development of a comprehensive report on the key activities for Business Excellence such as : Self-Assessment Results based on the Business Excellence Model and Compliance with IMS (Integrated Management Systems), Change Management and Knowledge Management.
Assist in the implementation of a framework for bench-marking and generation of data for best practice.
Based on set intervals, collect data and report on the achievement of quality plans and suggest appropriate corrective and preventive action where necessary.
Research and report the latest and updated "Excellence" knowledge base.
Saudi National required
3 years of Project Management Experience within Logistics
Experience of delivering business excellence services at a corporate level.
Experience of reviewing strategies, policies and procedures and aligning them to corporate priorities.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, English language proficiency is necessary
Experience dealing with retail business is desirable (Consumer Goods, Furniture, Consumer Electronics etc)
